Alumni

Every day, Black alumni shape our communities in meaningful ways. Black History Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate their contributions—past, present, and future. Together, let's celebrate their success, amplify their voices, and reaffirm our commitment to building an inclusive and equitable future.

This year’s theme, "Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations," reminds us that Black legacy is more than history—it’s a powerful force shaping the present and paving the way for tomorrow. True equity is realized not just by acknowledging the past but by ensuring Black leadership, participation, and mentorship continue to thrive in the future.

While Black History Month is a time for education and celebration, it also serves as a reminder of the ongoing fight against anti-Black racism. We stand in solidarity with this movement and encourage our community to engage, learn, and take action. Join us in celebrating Black excellence, not just this month but every day, as we work together to create a future where all voices are valued and empowered.
